1. Definitions

In this Agreement, “Company” refers to GSC Car Rental, “Renter” refers to the person entering into this rental contract, and “Vehicle” refers to any car provided under this agreement.

2. Eligibility

The Renter must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid, government-issued driver’s license with no major violations. The Company reserves the right to verify identity and driving history before vehicle handover.

3. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings require confirmation through full payment or an agreed deposit.
  • Accepted payment methods include credit/debit card, mobile money, or cash.
  • Final payment is due at the time of pickup unless prepaid.

4. Pickup and Return

  • The Vehicle must be picked up and returned at the agreed location and time.
  • Late returns may incur hourly or daily charges.
  • Early returns do not qualify for partial refunds unless specified in writing.

5. Vehicle Use

  • The Vehicle shall be used only for lawful personal or business transportation purposes.
  • The Vehicle may not be used off-road, for racing, towing, or subleasing.
  • The Renter must not permit any unauthorized driver to operate the Vehicle.

6. Fuel and Mileage

  • The Vehicle is provided with a full tank and must be returned with the same level, unless otherwise stated.
  • Mileage limits may apply; exceeding limits may result in additional fees.

7. Insurance and Liability

All Vehicles include basic insurance coverage. The Renter remains liable for any damage, loss, or theft resulting from negligence, unauthorized use, or contract violation. An excess or deductible may apply in case of insurance claims.

8. Accidents and Emergencies

In case of an accident, the Renter must immediately notify the Company and relevant authorities. A full written report and police statement may be required. The Renter must not repair or replace damaged parts without written approval.

9. Theft or Damage

The Renter is liable for any loss or damage to the Vehicle during the rental period, regardless of fault, unless proven otherwise and covered by insurance.

10. Maintenance and Breakdown

The Company ensures the Vehicle is roadworthy at handover. If a mechanical issue arises not caused by the Renter, the Company will offer roadside assistance or a replacement vehicle where feasible.

11. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Bookings cancelled more than 48 hours prior to pickup may be refunded in full.
  • Bookings cancelled less than 48 hours before pickup may incur a cancellation fee.
  • No-show without notice may result in full charge with no refund.

12. Data Protection

The Company collects personal data for the purpose of fulfilling the rental contract. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.

13. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the rental occurs. Any disputes shall be resolved under local court authority.

14. Changes to These Terms

The Company reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the latest version.
